National day. what it means to you. fireworks ? carnival with plenty of things to see and buy ? concerts ? or just another public holiday. Well i find it's something to celebrate about because i'm a singaporean.

talking about singapore. how would you actually see singapore. cut the "kopitiam politicians" that only sit there to talk and complain about PAP and the government. being a goverment isn't as easy as what you think. if you uncles in coffeeshop think that you're better ? you might as well stand for election and prove to the people that you can be the one giving us what we have right now !! and of course we have our national airline doing us proud being the best airline in the world !!

talking about singapore, what do you see right here which is a small port and not even a dot on the map. imagine when we go overseas, when we say we're from singapore, people would say " is it part of china ?" you'll be surprised !! that's the actual fact there's these people who live in the states or europe actually reacted and ask these questions when you say where you're from. after the IOC 2005 held in singapore for the election of olympics 2012 host actually helped us in letting people know where's singapore !! haha

so what so good about singapore ? why are people getting out of singapore ? i really don't understand.... but for me definitely i want to live in singapore. because comparing to those countries that i've been to, no where is much more safer than singapore. which country in the world you can go out at night and stay safe and sound, not being robbed or raped even when you stay out till 3 or 4 am at night ? after travelling around the world, i would tell you loud that the place would be SINGAPORE !! and talking about food, where the hell in the world would you get chicken rice for just $2.50 only or where would you be able to find food even past midnight or even after 3am ? no where would sell you food other than 7-elevens. but look at us. what we have here ? we have nasi lemaks, roti prata, ba chor mee, chicken wings, fried oysters, carrot cake, char kuay tiao and more ! and all at less than $4 !! where can you find that ? i really don't know. if you know, please do let me know.... i would love to know !! at this kind of price at this kind of hour... i had talked about the safety and security about singapore. now let's talk about the transportation. not many countries have night riders or buses available for them till dawn but we do ! though cars are really over-priced in singapore but still look at our transportation around the island. you might say that it's a small country. but the coverage is like fu*king sufficient for our country. or should i say overly covered. alot of people depend on bicycles, cycling from like changi airport to bedok that kind of distance !

now talking about the cleanliness of this small country. you might say fine here fine there. do you happen to go to shanghai ? you know the people in shanghai spit everywhere on the streets. just think that you're going to lean on the railings just for some support or your lazy legs and your hand comes in contact with the railing you felt sticky saliva.... i can't say that we don't have that in singapore. but the chances of us hitting one is maybe once in a lifetime or even lesser ... though once in a while we get a few shakes from the sumatra volcanoes but we'll never be strike by any natural disasters

after saying so much, are you convinced to get a citizenship here ? haha ... Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY my Dear Singapore
