Dear all, sad to say studio had been closed down .... due to the fact that we didn't have time to manage the place ever since the competition and will be under going some planning to renovate and relocating the studio. sighzz ... sad right ? well nothing to be sad about at this moment now because superband is upcoming ! and on going. thanks esther, bryan for helping me in search of a new unit for the studio and thanks for the advise being given. very much appreciated. looking at the current situation right now i guess the best thing is to concentrate on music making and the competition. spent the whole of sat and sun, packing the studio and moving the studio. well isn't that hard afterall. but the time, effort and sweat was like ..... Tremendous !! very tiring ok ! now my home looks like a warehouse... with all my equipments and stuffs packed. you never can imagine how much space a 4 room flat can give you ! i manage to shift the whole office back home ....

AND .... we had an mtv shoot on last friday ... full of fun ... and very tired ! imagine waking up at 6.00am !! it was like argghhhhh ..... no enough sleep and so tiring ... but nevertheless we finish the shoot in the shortest time also with our teamwork ! yohoo !!!

was viewing through the channel u forum for superband competition. really thanks for the comments we get from people we don't know. can see some group already have their base of own fan clubs. Check out this website. Don't know when JADE's fan club will be set up. but i guess i shall keep my fingers crossed that someone is hardcore enough and hardworking enough to do so.

looking at the situation now i guess it might be a major turning point of my life... wonder what is it going to be like. good or bad ? i'm not sure. ... just gotta cross my fingers, toes, hair, tongue and everything i have. hmmm i heard actually there's one group called LGF who didn't manage to get in the first round of auditions, went to buy over the chance of a girl group who went in the the second rounds audition. and then eventually they didn't manage to made it to top 18 as well... i was wondering, how could this happen. i'm not sure about it ... but well final 18 is out and glad that JADE made it.

alright guess this is the time all of you who had been reading this website is waiting for .... for the superband results to be announced. yes my band JADE had got into the top 18 bands in the superband competition and will be televised on channel u. mediacorp said that will be the biggest event this 2006 ! so watch out for it. think it'll be the process of all of you who had been supporting me all these while to see bloom and make into another phase of life.

actually wanted to take part in superstar in 2005. but i missed the audition dates. but now i guess it's maybe a blessing in disguise that i'm fated to sing in a band.

yes my dear readers, supporters, friends, relatives and everyone else. yes i've got into super band !! many many thanks to the sms and wishes that all had given me. sorry if i'm unable to reply. but god blessed. think maybe this is another significant jump again. from setting up a music publishing house and studio company, now come a superband competition. i think i might not be able to handle all at a time. most prob will put a hold the studio first. will concentrate on writing and publishing music and of course every single effort i have in this life into this competition. after waiting and waiting i guess talents need to get paid off with luck and timing .... maybe the timing is right now ... i can't be sure until i win this competition. but without my supporters and all of you out there i can't possibly win this competition. because it's an sms result factor competition. sorry for my english ... but i guess you guys could understand this.

really sorry for the long awaited update. alot smsed to wish me luck, be there to watch the results and not many know much about me taking part. but i guess now it's finally much more brighter for me to announce. me and my band are in the top 18 of super band competition. really hope everything would be doing well. at least i could fulfil my mum's wish of being what she want to be ... a xing ma .... ? not just a xing ma ... but maybe to see his both dearest sons could do something that they had long  worked hard for .... but i guess i can't throw everything on it ... but to put my best and stage the best for you, my supporters our there ....

once again sorry for the late update. i was back fom new york a day before the snow storm. lucky i escape the long wait on the trip back from new york. because traffic in new york was in total chaos. luckily for new york city the day of snow storm was over a weekend. so it's not that bad after all. after i was back from new york, i put all my time into working of studio and getting ready for renovation and stuffs. but after working over the days for getting ready to do the renovation, the results of superband competition shocked me. i've got in. me, lawrence, shawn, bryan and jansen made it ! band name JADE ! alright  think back to the topic... too over whelmed by the long wait of results from super band audition.

yap that's me wearing specs... ya i'm not short sighted. but i'm just wearing to cover my eye bags ... :P and maybe that time was going to be my last time in new york ... i don't know .... think the superband competition will be my next level of showcase of our band's music talents.

Do a brief introduction of my band ..... When did we form this band? And the period of time together ?

On and off during period of 2004 to 2006. Drummer (Jansen) took vocal lessons from Teacher (Peter Chen) and then Vocalist (Terrence) was also having lessons with Teacher (Peter Chen) at the same period of time. And drummer (Jansen) told teacher (Peter Chen) that he’s looking for a vocalist to sing together as a band in a small pub. Ended up teacher (Peter Chen) recommended Vocalist (Terrence) to Drummer (Jansen). And they started playing with the bassist (Shawn), keyboardist (Bryan), drummer (Jansen) and a few others in a small pub. Vocalist (Terrence) then brought guitarist (Lawrence) into this band and started JADE to take part in this competition. We are all still in contact with each other after band switched place to perform. But this competition brought this fate back again.

snowing in new york city right now .. getting in and out of the state is expected to be delayed because of the weather. as they say, snow storm might be hitting new york city in the evening ... which is the time i'm departing. well i hope everything turns out right.... don't wanna miss the trip back to singapore on the 14th feb ....

because of some issues right now that jade music is facing ... guess it's time we're looking for a new place to shift. jade music set up @ the end of december, is now moving to its new office at "not sure the venue" ... really hope i won't have a big problem looking for a good place with a good deal. i was actually having the thought of moving out to an office that i own. so i decided to throw in the money to buy the place myself. because on a long term basis i guess it shall benefit more than causing me a financial burden. due to the fact that renting has no returns. but owning a place actually is an asset to me. viewing on the thing in a long term issue. i guess it shall not be any problem. at least for the next few years i shall work harder to make my music environment into a living for myself and for my brother of course.

not in singapore since the 8th feb. and i'm already missing home badly. missing my bed and my comfort zone. haha. too bad the toto didn't strike on the 10th. so i guess i had to spend the 2 dollar hoping the next coming draw could be strike by me. the 10 million draw was split among 9 people all over singapore. so i guess i'm just not as lucky this time. think next time would be better for me.

was total busy and in total mess .... haha leaving singapore tomorrow with my office computer still not working... due to the fact, in the things i'm experienced, i shouldn't have bought the thing second hand and wanna depend on it to do something important and lost important data of my studio ! damn it .... this is what that had happened in the last 6 hours when i was in the studio. the hard disk that i've bought is from a second hand computer and might have been used more than 4 years. the fact is that i've been trying to format the computer and restore the data which i moved over to the other drive. but ended up the drive didn't work ! i was like SHIT !!  my data and music are in it .... god thank that my dad still save a copy of it in one of the thumb drives .... thank goodness ! i was spending only 1 hour retyping a document that is done by me yesterday.

So the moral of the story is..... don't always save and try to get everything second hand !! because you won't know how the previous user had handled it. some areas that you gotta spend means you gotta spend. so don't save on unnecessary things. like especially the electronics stuffs that store your important information. because it's again time wasting and total time wasting when i had so little time left only for myself.... but i would say i have no time left for myself only .... arrgghhhh .... ok .... ok save no more .... not on things like computer, electronics .... because to me .. these are the essentials .. unlike furniture .... furniture is not that important in the studio ... so i can save on that  :P
