first day of chinese new year, i would like to wish all of you out there a prosperous and fruitful year ahead. let last year be a learning experience for you and may this year be smooth sailing throughout for all of you.

i'm in london again ... on the 27th jan i was back to singapore in the morning at 8am, was working back from london to singapore, then after touch down, there're like a thousand things to be done. i didn't rest until at night. was so damn tired and clocked a 28 hours without any rest .... went to malaysia to have dinner with my grandma and was all the while discussing about jademusic issues .... slept for 6 hours and i was awake again to work to london again.... now in london ... feeling tired and abit sick in fact... on the first day of new year ... think for these 2 days in london will be rest days for me. never gonna go anywhere .. but just resting in the room. until i'm back again to handle jademusic. it's not that nice feeling to be sick on new year day. but i think i shouldn't have overwork myself once again. maybe you guys should call or ask me out more often to relax and rest. so that would stop me from working further.

new year to me .... i don't really know what to write about my feelings towards new year this year ... feeling funny, awkward, uttering rubbish... well just another new year.... maybe this is my feeling now. but a brand new start for me to stop thinking of the past and move towards the future. okay rubbish ....

alright, time to get back to sleep and rest before i embark to continue my next pile of undone work with jademusic. haha good night ppl..

actually is just a misunderstanding ... think we should have just answer the questions and not say anything extra.... a hot afternoon and tiring day for her... just trying to crack some jokes but ended up in this way .... well resign it to fate for the dark clouds to clear ... hopefully god is on our side ....

had been so long ever since i have this kind of time to rest in the room and lazing around doing mask and enjoying myself with the songs and silence in my room .... back in singapore is always as busy and full of things to do ..... maybe a short holiday for me . had been sleeping in the room for like more than 15 hours ... not all 15 hours sleeping ... but at least had committed 12 hours of rest on and off. weather in london is pretty dry ....need plenty of water intake before i become dried cuttlefish. in my mind, i was thinking of moving the studio of mine, over to the next door of the same building .... but was wondering .... the renovation alone is going to cost like 7 thousands dollars .... well i won't move until i earn something back at least from the current one ... get to break even first before i have further plans. but the plans of moving office will most probably happen during the end of this year.

hmmm pretty bored here. because ... other than my mobile phone, i had no communication to the outside world... or rather back to singapore .... internet is not available here. it's going to take me some 10 mins walk before i reach the nearest internet cafe.

think it's good rest for me.... shall update more stuffs when i'm back in singapore ..... at the mean time ... do some favor for me ok ? sms me or email me if you happen to see me on tv coverage or newspapers....  ok ? tell me the time, date and what coverage is that, news, variety programs or short adverts .... thanks alot ....

after a week of break staying in singapore getting busy with my stuffs, finally reached london today ... missing my dad and my brother.... don't really like the feeling of parting with them again ... because they're my only kins left ... i guess as we grow older day by day you feel lonely more than you feel when you're younger. because during your older days, the people beside you start to leave slowly, without you noticing .... i guess that's life ....

before setting off for london, was in singapore for a busy day of work .... think more of fun .... but listen up ... not really fun though ... i woke up in the morning ... going to jade music office to open the studio for some clients, thereafter, left the studio and head for mediacorp studio for our second round of audition for channel U superband competition.... was rather kept in suspend mode. the actual story is ... we didn't finish singing the song in a whole ... i believe other contestants as well .... but after setting up our eqiupments and got ready, the judges break for 15 minutes. then we were already all geared up. did a small session of performance for the production crew in the studio. because it's really too quiet !! and they actually shot our band during that session and put us on tv for reporting on superband auditions. i was given a mid shot for like 4 seconds or so .... that's the information from my younger brother .... but i didn't get the chance to see it at all ... did i appear alright to you guys ? haha

anyway update to you guys ... we felt in a suspend mode throughout this period after the superband second round audition, is due to the fact that we will only know the results on the 19 feb ... and as a performer i think after playing the half song, there ain't any applause at all... because it's in a studio ... that's why it gave all our musicians a suspend feeling ... meaning: sudden stop when reaching orgasm or climax.... haha don't really know how to describe ... but i think a performer or musician on stage will know this kind of feeling .... it's often the applause thing ....

anyway we'll only know the results on the 19 feb ... so shall keep all my fingers, toes, tongue, hair, arms, legs crossed till then .... find out more and let you know later ... ya ! need your strong support ... being a musician is not easy .... think it's way harder than even being a father ........ :) and would like to thank all who had sms me and noticed me on the small few seconds segment .... thank you ...

finally got a table from ikea and the essentials furniture of office is done up already .... no more time waste. alot of things are under going processing as jade music moves to another level of advancement with the help of the 3 other management people. they are the sales, publishing and operations manager. well i can't really say what the future is going to be like. but it's a big gamble that i've put in during my young days of my career. whether of having any chance to appear in times magazine, will be an unknown to me. but working towards aims and targets that are high up is really a hefty price to pay. but on the other hand, if one doesn't have that aim so high, there'll be no improvement. but definitely setting target too high may result in easily to give up.

if anyone wanna do something or do well. the first thing in mind is to stay focus and importantly must have the attitude of wanting to learn. why not try to target at something that you wanna do before you grow old or before you reach 40. whether you achieved or not, it's another case. but looking back at your young days when you're 50, at least you can tell yourself, you tried and have no regrets. wish me well and hope that everything turns out the way that i want. haha though abit impossible but something close is also fine ....

superband competition is coming near again... second round of auditions is on the 22th jan .... and i have a trip to london that particular. hopefully i won't be too tired. but nevertheless today's jamming session really showed that the band is of some standard. due to the fact that out of 5 of jade band, 4 are existing or ex pub players... all live music musicians ..... to date.... looking at the suitation ... everyone had improved quite a bit and mature in our style and directions in music .... though i'm not able to work full time in music, but never give up any chances and keep on practising is the thing i always keep up in. hopefully that helps to bring me to a higher level as a musician. ... at the same time i'm being approached by another artiste company to do freelance shows on events and stuffs like that ... wanting to go down and listen what is it all about. BUT !!! i got no time .... why can't there be 2 terrence ..... ???

and my band member invite me in another gig in a music sch .... but again i'm not free .... why so many restrictions ... ok . hope he doesn't give up on me. because my passion is always there.... and always as strong. these few weeks was approached by 2 people to give vocal classes. should be starting lesson next month .... will be teaching my "students" in my studio mostly .... hopefully i can get the equipment to support by end of jan at least. pray hard for me.... equipment cost is going to be around $600. any sponsors on any small amounts ? i don't mind.. by the way ... thanks X for your comments on my diary's story line..... thought i was writing rubbish .... now i know at least someone feel that my entries are engaging ...  will keep on writing... super long entry today ... this shows that how much things had happened in the last 48 hours ...

by the way cruz sent me a msg on msn asked if i had read the channelu website article on our band or not... i was so surprised. didn't know that our report was out already. it's on www.channelu.com.sg ... although the report was not as a good one but i find that's something i can't do about .... well i was sick that day of the audition and my band was in a condition of a mess ... we only practiced 45 mins to piece up the song and went for audition already. reach there, the situation was in a mess also.... where to register, how much it cost. .. what is the waiting time and my drummer need to be away for an hour during the waiting time .... oh my gosh ... so messy .... anyway it's the first report ... it can helped to push our publicity up as well... so we keep our fingers crossed and hope things turn out well .... the reporter had posted, we're a good band that had staged an extremely good performance. but we were too lewd towards her. haha ... ermm ... well hope the misunderstanding will clear as we meet again .... may the force be on our side. love you guys. time to save money and vote for me if i pass ok !?

tired .... shag ..... these are the only words that i could find to describe my current status .... was working this morning .... woked up at 4am to prepare for my work ... back in town only @ 12pm ... then rushed down to studio to have my jamming session... time at 2.30pm ... we waited till 4.30 before we can even audit for the super band thingy .... yes super band ... i took part in superband competition organised by channel U. and got into the second round of close door audition at mediacorp studio on the 22nd jan .... hopefully everything moves smoothly pray for me.... i might need all your support for the next few rounds if i managed to get into the tv show rounds .... pray hard for me. hopefully we can make it .... nothing much to update recently ...  but just tiredness in the work and stress that i'm going through now ... fatigue .... arghhhh ... i shall rest more and present the best to you guys .

just back from my shopping trip in china. was pretty cold in shanghai but defintely i bought alot of things this trip. you know what ? my cargo bag weighs as heavy as 36kg in weight and the weight is just so hard to carry. show you a picture of how packed my bag is.

and imagine these things in the bag can actually be fitted in this hello kitty bag below ?

don't be surprised by the size of this bag.... the volume of shopping it can hold is really magnificent !! you can't imagine the whole cargo bag stuffs can fit in this bag ! anyway i've used this bag for transportation of things from shopping area back to hotel. and this bag cost only $2 sgd !!

had really spent alot this shopping trip. around half a grand. together with the makan and everything. alot of people might be asking me, where actually to shop in shanghai to get so much stuffs. for clothes and things like that, actually it's at qi pu lu ! it's a distributor centre in shanghai. and definitely you've gotta to claim that you're there to get stock for your business. then they will give you a much lower price when you shop in bulk in their shop. min pieces each shop will be around 5 pieces.

in the hotel there's also something very cute this time round. the hotel i stay give me this !

and on the tag it writes. take me home !! so sweet, ain't it ?  to be frank if you were to go shanghai for shopping trip, i'll recommend qi pu lu for you. it really have the things that's up to market trend !

ok after i came back from shopping, went for dinner in a eatery and then followed by massage in the foot spa centre. i'm talking about the real foot and body massage in china !! the real one. not the sleazy kind ... it only cost me $18 for 2 hours. how terrific is that ? back in singapore. although real tired this trip. but definitely i got what i want and it really will last me half a year for not shopping at least. for your information, i don't do these kind of shopping every other trip. maybe once or twice per year at most. buying things mostly for my family.

back in singapore now .... am appealing for all readers of my site to give me a hand. i'm in need for furniture at the new office. items as following ...

sighzz.... new year ... the first stupid thing that i've done is forgetting to bring my keys when i'm supposed to open the studio today for the band jamming today. alright ... i shall tell you the story .... woke up around noon time today and getting all ready to get myself down by public transport to open the studio for a band coming to jam to day in the late noon. was suppose to reach the place at 1600 hours. happily departed my home at 1500 hrs all dressed up and ready to go via public transport. the mrt ! happy and proud of myself to take mrt once again. took my time. buy food and walked to the studio. greeted the band and was about to search for my keys, suddenly it struck me that SHIT !!! where are my keys ?! few seconds of search .... oh ya ... i was out in jeans last night. and it's suppose to be in my jeans .... damn it ! i called my brother to take a cab down to the studio when he's suppose to do other things. damn it ! how forgetful can i be.... when he reached the place at 1645, it's like 45mins late !! how could this had happened ?!!?! think i'm really getting old... brains not as alert and reaction not as fast already .... i really find as human age, you can really feel the difference ... not both mental and physical aspect.

never would i make such a silly mistake last time. maybe because i don't usually make mistakes hahaaha .... but it's really a big mistake for making the band wait 45 mins for the keys .... really sorry i feel . anyway this is one episode that i'll never forget .... my first mistake for jade music and last mistake that i made this whole year. lesson learnt ... really forgetful...... don't u think so ? as you aged, your mind don't react as fast .... agree ?

New year new start and new design ! from the 01 jan 2006, i've start working on the design of myonlineportal.com and worked towards giving my readers a fresh look of the website. after 4 hours of tedious photo taking session and few days of struggling to piece everything together is not so tough a thing to complete. but definitely i tried my best without changing the layout of my website. because i simply love the layout and is just the design which is too dull. maybe you guys can give me some comments about my new design. at the same time, i had combined my gallery into 1 gallery which make browsing of my website more simplified. people don't have to see which gallery had i updated. but just go straight to gallery section, they can see everything from there !

website aside, i had spent my last day of 2005 and first day of 2006 in taipei !! it's pretty nice ! weather, concerts, interesting and gossipy news ! haha and photos of my new banner all done in taipei !! went to watch the new year countdown in taipei 101 tower and the fireworks itself really gave me new hope and resolutions for this year. working even harder to make ends meet, fulfilling whatever i can do for my friends, loved ones and myself. still having a couple of things on hand that i need to settle one at a time.

alot of people had been asking, why SOIS was disbanded. i think i'll give you guys a more detailed explanation right here. the disband was due to a few reasons. firstly my drummer had went way too far in testing people's patience. maybe it's just difference in life that we can't click. but maybe what i could say is that he need time to grow and prove himself to his loved ones down the road in future. personality of my ex drummer, i wouldn't comment much. because there's no right or wrong regarding how a person wanna lead his life. and i couldn't force people to run at the pace that i'm running. all i can do is to let go and leave him to choose his path that he wanna move and the pace he wanna run. it's not a bad thing either. because we realized and respect each other's choice of splitting ! that's the most important thing ! understanding ..... can't leave together doesn't mean cannot be friends. maybe in the future we'll meet and work with each other ? right ?

updates on the studio. my younger brother, lawrence, had officially set up a new business name for our so-call company !! business nature priority goes to music production and composition, on the other end would be rental of eqiupments and running events or shows. Name of company is JADE MUSIC .  i wouldn't rule out any possibility of this company's involvement in music. i would say if there's anything to do with music and stuffs which has the slightest relations, JADE MUSIC will be interested.

Looking at the present situation, things are happening at a pretty fast pace. so i hope people out there would give me any opinions and give me their support. on the other hand, i would like to thank you guys who had been reading my website and giving me support towards music ! i would do my best and give you the results that you want to see in me. alright, the gallery will be up shortly with some photos that i've taken in taipei. wish you guys a happy new year and all the best in your 2006 !! muacks !!
