departed from hong kong to san francisco on the 27th july .... reaching san fran, i didn't go anywhere special. other than just staying in the hotel and going the near by shopping district for a short walk around the district. pretty much crowded with the crazy people around in the streets of states. very common you will see funny people talking to themselves. seldom you would notice them in singapore. but in the united states, you see them on every streets asking for money and walking around talking to themselves. haha don't really know what to say. if you gonna say you like states from the movies you say from hollywood, then i think you better come visit the place here no matter in LA, San fran, or new york. it's everywhere on the streets, in the buses and in restaurants that you have those funny character. and the sirens of police cars just rings off along the streets every few hours. this proves how safe it is to live in the states. haha I ask you a question. how many times  you ever hear the police or ambulance siren even in 1 week or in a month. that's how safe singapore is !!

believe me or not it's up to you... had been spending the past 5 hours doing my galleries and photo vault. improving the navigation system and the view of the web. guess it's kind of worth it. easier to view them right ? no need to scroll all the way down. and future updating of the photos will be alot easier as well....

i'll be departing san fran very soon. in around 6 more hours time. before going off on the long flight of 14 hours. think i better catch somemore sleep. ciaoz ... good nite. shall update more things as i go back home or even in hongkong if there's nothing for me to do in hongkong. which i don't really think i have time to do all these in hongkong.... trying hard to put on weight in hongkong ... hehe eat EAt EAT !!

just came back back from brisbane yesterday night and today noon i'll be departing to hong kong and san francisco. it had been sometime like almost a year never been to san francisco already. had managed to do a triple swop to my flights, increasing my earnings to an extra of 1200 bucks from my original roster. i'm really tired ... think the fatigue level of my body system is building ...

anyway had spent most of my time in brisbane in the hotel room because i'm just too tired to go out. other than going out to buy some food. i really have cravings for our own singapore food !! just don't know why ... just sick of aircraft food... singapore chicken rice, cha guay tiao, ba kut teh is so so much more better !! haha sound like a tourist ? what to do ? i grew up in singapore !!

in brisbane, spent like 5 hours redesigning my banner and layout of my website. i was thinking.. since i'm not going to change the design of the site, i might as well do some small changes to the current design.... since most people online are using resolution of 1024 x 768, i shall change my resolution of the website to bigger scales. but the size change is not very visible ... definitely if you're going to view the web using your 800 x 600 viewing resolution, the banner of my website is gonna take up 3/4 of your screen. happy scrolling . :P

on the other hand, i'm not sure if i wanna change my photo galleries to better navigation format. and easier for me to update. cause the photos are really alot alot !!! think i shall spend time doing it when i'm in san francisco. for my viewers and people who visit my website. of course myself too :P blah. lots of crap.

regarding those comments on my tag board, "an" had mentioned that it doesn't really prove anything using those web pro software to design their website. i was putting the message across of XIAXUE saying that it's a big achievement having her blog and those archives that she had written so far building up into her own blog. IF you had been doing website, i think if you are proficient enough to understand, or should i say knowledgeable to understand that, using your pro tools will actually help you better design your website !! and you'll be able to actually have all your designs and stuffs backed up by your own systems !! not just having is saved on a web server or web notepad like blogspot. i have lots of copies of my website backed up during different time !!

anyway thanks for reminding me to backup my data again ... haha ... it takes lots of efforts to do so ....  ok shall stop the topic on the ignorant young girl.

will be visiting hong kong again as mentioned earlier... guess it's some fun again doing some light shopping. shall control and refrain myself from spending too much. but then again .... maybe i spend like $150 ?? $200 ?? hmmm maybe abit more la  $300 ? hahaha this just won't stop ! just like majority of our female crew in my job. they had been shopping their whole life since they start working as a crew. or maybe just a woman's nature. but looking at the LVs they bought, it's like 1 year they are buying 2 to 3 pieces of bags each time. and each bag cost an average of 800 dollars ! gosh ... !! women ... into hongkong this time i shall not eat char siew !! not char siew this trip .... cause of the pigs in shenzhen are sick ! haha some pig viral .... i shall eat my favourite hongkong roast geese !! no bird flu for the geese and ducks pls .... pray for me

came back to transfer photos that were taken quite some time ago with my hand phone ... so now other than source of digital cameras, i still have my handphone at least . one more source of recording time ....

this picture taken today is before i go out for jamming in the evening .... with my new parting and new hair style. kind of new hair style ... is that i change the parting of my hair ... because am afraid of receding hair lines .... shit .... i also bought some hair tonic like biolyn to prevent further lost of hair from my job .... flying actually makes you loss more hair and as you age, it's more important to maintain or do something to prevent it from happening ....

today jamming was pretty shiok ... the band is so tight and playing together so well .... but though skills are still to improve .... but can hear that we are more in sync than any other bands jamming at that place ... the tightness of the band is like YOHOO ! enjoy singing during the jamming today .... though i sang without having my dinner, my voice sounded abit weird. but the practice in effort make me realise that i started to pitch higher notes like that time when i sang in pub with my previous band ....

after jamming it's like 12 plus already ... we went for makan and i sent them home .... u know what, i went geylang for makan ... went walking around the street where the prostitutes stand. it's like woah ... the whole street of girls wearing push up bras ... haha nose bleeding like mad ! was talking with my band mates ... to be frank, our government also can't stop illegal prostitution in the country. because if they catch all the china girls standing on streets and send them back to china, their country government will be very angry with us. it's like very insulting and humiliating ....

haha shall stop talking about prostitutes ... back to the topic .... really love jamming today ... shall look forward to more jamming session to actually brush up to play like pros enough for gigs .... can feel that though it's only 5 jamming sessions so far which started from mid june, we achieve that kind of standard of those band who had been playing for 2-3 years ... it's all the hardwork put in within this 1 month plus ... it's only 1 month plus ... we shall look forward for more and more improvement ... maybe can have a gig by mid next year in some places ... that's what i have in mind. and might be a free gig for you guys ... kind of like a concert thing. ok shall not bullshit so much and make empty promises. i shall just improve and work hard first .... loving every moment of my life ... living to the fullest !

already in copenhagen time now is 9pm copenhagen time .... it's 6 hours slower than singapore ... it's summer in europe now .... it's very very bright even though it's 9pm .... because the sun sets very late at around 9 plus and rises at around 4.30am. for those people who enjoy daytime more will like this kind of weather and the long daylight they have here....

the jamming session was pretty great .... after 4 jamming sessions, it's quite good that our band is getting tighter and can feel our togetherness and teamwork. i believe it's pretty possible achieving the outcome and results we want to actually go into the chinese market doing commercial music ... if there's chance i'll be posting the recordings of the jamming sessions. though it's not that easy for me to sing the japanese songs .... but i tried really hard with my homework and pronoucation. hope i can pass off to sing japanese songs next time if there's any chance.  on the 14th july, i went to a studio for a kind of makeover photo shoot referred by a friend. cause of the package they are selling they required us to pay 2 thousands over for the package and for another person who successfully signed up for the package, we'll be getting back 100 dollars from the referrals who signed up. i think to sign up such an expensive package, it's only my colleagues who has the financial capabilities to do so. 2 over grand for a photo shoot is too expensive.... i can even buy the equipment and set up the studio myself liao .... had intended to. maybe setup a studio to shoot for my friends or what. but the hair and makeup will be done by me. but though i spent 2 hours there. i didnt sign up for the plan. they still gave me back 2 free photos. i've edited one of them and placed it on the main page of my website. i find that it's a bit crap. for us to sign up for a makeover package at 2000 over dollars and market it like a MLM (multi-level marketing) sales method. there're smart. but the price is too steep ! just too steep ! anyway the makeup was done by myself ... just light makeup and the hair was also done by myself .... :P

this stay in copenhagen is really a bit long compared to other europe flights. because it's a non daily flight .... we only fly to copenhagen 3 times a week. so i shall just rot here and practice and catch up the things that i've no time to do in singapore. like practicing singing and doing my web update ! shall tell ya more on the next jamming session also. and also post the photos of my band members... all quite good looking. idol looking ... that's why i say my band should be able to make it. but i need support. will u give me the support ?

after collecting my new monitor which i had kept with xu qi, mediacorp artiste, on the 10th night, i came back home and did my stuffs and scheduling of events for the next day. on the 11th i went to sim lim to collect my motherboard that i've sent in for repair. but they didn't really repair my motherboard ... instead, they gave me a new mother board. well... considered not bad a deal ... i also met my god bro for a walk in sim lim.... he just returned from studies in united kingdom, getting a honors in engineering and topping the course of that year. top student plus 1st class honors. i think he's able to get at least a basic pay of $3500 .... so envy ... but of course his hardwork is worthwhile !!

after meeting him, i went back home to fetch my parents to malaysia as they were leaving for genting highlands for a short holiday .... well time is always not enough for me ... i made my friend wait for me in orchard for an hour before i go meet her for coffee ... i only managed to reach there at 10.20pm .... so sorry jacelyn .... time is running short for me ... i really wish i could have more time ... but i didn't .... after meeting my friend for coffee in orchard , i went on to catch up with my other friends for drinks in a club .... before i come back home to rest for the day .... tomorrow is my next jamming session and i'm going to send chan ee, one of my best buddy to the airport as he's leaving for studies in perth .... 1 and a half years he won't be returning back to singapore .... i think the only way to see him is when i do perth flights .... the only way to catch up with him or maybe when online .... wishing him all the best in his studies ... take care brother ...

today marking the death anniversary of my late grandpa, i was in malaysia, my grandparents place in Johor. staying in my grandma place and visited my grandaunt in Johor who had just recovered from her breast removal operation. My grandaunt was diagnosed with breast cancer mid this year after various check-ups. can see that she's recovering and already back on track with her life... me and my cousins together with my aunts, we went over to give her talks and "scolded" her. telling her to stand up from what she had fell for... we can see that it's not much of a big deal about it .... she had the cancer lumps removed already. so she should be alright !! but she always tell her children that she's going to wait for death. we gave her a small knock on her thought and told her to get up .... she still have at least 10 more years to go .... my mum's friend also had breast cancer .... still living fine 10 years after her operation. sound and safe. cancer nowadays it's no big deal... in many cases, cancer can be subdue by therapy and operations. so we should fight against them rather than letting them kill us ....

for the whole day of yesterday, i was so so busy with my stuffs back at home in singapore... touched down from taipei at around 12 plus in the noon. went back home, unpacked my stuffs already, i started to do my things like arranging to sell of my monitor to another person on the yahoo auctions. as well, slept for like only 3 hours as i didn't sleep on the previous night before i departed for my flight to come back to singapore .... my this trip to taipei was not very impressive. .. never go anywhere for sight seeing, other than patronising the clubs in taipei. Went to Lavabar and room eighteen for some drinks .... was pretty nice and cosy ... the girls in taipei are much more prettier compared to in singapore .... i must comment that they really know how to dress really well....

after sleeping, i went for my jamming session which starts at 6pm till 8pm for the first session. it was really torturing... not having enough rest, i can't really sing much. my voice couldn't really "open" at all... so after the first half an hour of the session i went to grab a plate of chicken rice just to fill my stomach. finally when i manage to "open" my voice, the first session of jamming that day ended ... we went over to potong pasir coffee for our dinner ... before we started the second session of jamming till 11pm ... after 4 hours of jamming session we sat outside the jamming studio for debrief. i must say for our band having only 3 jamming sessions so far, we really improved quite abit. but still far from what we had pledged. i told my bandmates off .... we had seen so many bands mature only after 30s .... and looking at ourselves... asking ourselves, do we want to mature that late  ? i'll update the results of our next jamming session ...  

checking out tonight out of los angeles. i guess it's really very sad. especially when my team girl break the news that her grandma had passed away. for us cabin crew, it's the worst thing that could happen when our relative had past away when we're overseas. poor her. stayed with her and helped her as much as i could by talking to her and giving her on the information on how the company will handle the problem. and she's positioning back on flight back to singapore first. leaving our team in lax. so it's like our flight is down by 1 crew already ....

with the work load on flight. i guess it's gonna be very tiring ... but the feeling of having a family member passing away, when you're overseas, is very aweful. you won't want that kind of feeling. that's the bad thing of being a cabin crew. our job nature.

this trip into lax, i never been to anywhere special. just been to farmest market and beverly centre for some simple shopping. really nothing great. but i guess it's gonna be fun when i touch down in taipei. cause i'm touching down in taipei on a thursday and friday. shall club in taipei and go shopping. :P

i'm in los angeles now .... was here on the 24th jun last month.... same hotel same flight pattern. it was taipei-los angeles flight. so i'll be back in taipei on the 7th and 8th of jul. which is 2 days later.

anyway my last taipei lax flight was really nice. went to universal studio for the first time taking all the rides with my set of crew and really had a good time in los angeles. ... special thanks to melly, the taiwanese stewardess who had bring me around in taipei. we went to dan shui for makan and abit of shopping. bought some food for my grandma and family.

but by the time i was back in singapore, my mum is already away in perth. to visit my great grand parents in perth. cause one of them had passed away. my great grand mother passed away on the 25th jun last month in perth.... she's already 90 over years old. so i suppose she's gone for good. and my mum was the representative to go there on behalf of our family and the people of her hometown in johor and malacca.. ok i guess it's pretty complicated. but my mum is getting alot better already. getting back on track hope she's ok when she get back from perth. she'll be back from perth on the 8th of july .... keeping my fingers crossed

i guess i've mentioned about me setting up a band with my younger brother with me being the lead singer. actually on the 29th i was back in singapore, we went to have our jamming practice session in boat quay studio. and discussed about the contract of renting a room for constant practice. but the stupid guy quoted us 400 dollars just for a night once a week. it's so expensive. so my mind set is to actually set up my own jamming studio for my band. with all the effort i see my band members putting in. i find it's worth it. i'll open the jamming studio as a business. and the business should be helping me break even the rental cost and my cost. i don't mind just earning like 200 a month from the place as extra cash. that shall be my first investment in business after i've join the airlines....

ok put that aside. shall go back singapore and find out more on the rental and cost of the stuffs. actually after i was back in singapore on the 29th jun after my long flight from taipei to los angeles, i went to work again on the 30th jun doing a manila turn around flight. it was a draggy turn around flight because of the time and the flight time of the flight itself. 4.5 hours each way. torturing. but after that day of work on the manila flight, i went back home and rushed for my band practice till 12am at night. which means i woke up at 5 am till 12 am... almost 20 hours of work and packed schedule again after my long flight back. feel that i'm really making full use of my time in singapore.

well i guess that's life .... how i live mine... making full use of my time. living life to the fullest. how about yours ?
