i called up office to tell that my car has got some problem and would not be able to make it to work today. sighzzz ... gotta take 1 day unpaid leave. deducting from my pay ...  anyway can't help caused i've been to an interview and cleared 2 rounds last saturday. and now on the 25th i cleared the final round of interview and swimming test.

that makes me closer to the job. i won't reveal on what job is it. but i'll have to go thru a medical checkup and wait for the psychological test results to come out in 2 weeks time.

gotta go sleep now. cause i need to take be for the medical screening in the morning at 10 am tomorrow the best ...

everything ended ..... talentquest 2004 for me was over... was in the semi finals on saturday noon. did my job. but i guess other people are better. and the crowd is better on sunday.  nevertheless it's always this case in the competition. it's the matter of whether the judge like you or not. and there's a change of judges as well. the judge on saturday and sunday is different by 1 person. competition is like this no one to blame.

everything seems just yesterday. haha a bit lost at the moment after the competition. found that i commit no mistakes during the show and was helping my partner who couldn't find her word during the show.... guess it's part and parcel of any contest. and my partner gave her best. it's nice working with her through the composition semi-finals.  returned home from parco bugis junction and results and outcome is that i didn't qualify for the finals of the emcee category. furthest record was a semi final. anyway it's for all. i guess for the other competitors as well ..... i wish them all the best in their forth comings and i thank all the talentquest staffs for the help in this competition to make it go so far. thanks a million

pretty bothered after my personal appointment in the noon. sudden lost of direction for a while and tired. well, i'll just work hard and continue to move towards the direction. be hardworking terrence !!

went for a drink at night with my brudders in a pub. after that went to have supper alone. sighz.... reached home at 2+ am. this morning and couldn't sleep well. don't know why..... had been tossing and turning for 3 hours. now it's 6.45am and i'm still awake ..... ......

working everyday even on valentine i had spent 5 solid hours working from 5+ pm to 10+. today is really a bad day for me. as i can feel that my back had started to give me problems. after waking up in the morning, i had problems sitting up. it's like i had already woke up but in dilemma. not too sure what happened but it's aching alot. maybe because i've been working non stop and had been carrying heavy stuffs during my work.

anyway i've completed the valentine showcase in parco bugis junction last sunday. it's pretty fun working with sharlyn. she's a nice fine lady. very interesting.... this coming saturday noon 21st feb 2004 from 5pm till 7pm @ parco bugis junction (infront of bodyshop). i'll be hosting another session of competition with another girl who's going to partner me on that day as well for the semi finals in emceeing.

busy busy busy busy very busy !!

brought my younger brother lawrence to devils yesterday to see the band in devils bar perform. he pretty impressed by the band works and the teamwork. very impressive !! and quite a few things happened these few days .... was extremely busy with my work and having a bad gastric. ... due to work .... sighzz ... plus no one to take care of me ... so any kind soul would offer ?

at the same time people might have seen me on papers of xin min on thursday regarding the advertisement that my pub had published. for all your info .... ICE had officially quit singing in eternity pub. as the pub owner want us to sing 45 mins per set and for 3 set every night without increasing our pay. it's way off market price ! anyway the pub also had very unreasonable price on their beverages. so don't think i want my friends to go there anymore .. kinda of wasting money for a place like eternity.

pretty tired recently. hope i have time to record some songs on my page for you guys to download. cause of the time constrain and things like personal things to catch up with. basically i don't have much time even for myself my personal things....

just went for facial this morning. ... haha that was like 6 months ago already from the last time i went for my last facial .... pretty long right ? feeling the pain now .... 2 hour facial .... had just bought a new dvd player. the first ever dvd player in my entire family.... a bit slow right ? 

contacted my friend who is a producer and asked if i'm suitable for acting or not. she told me was quite okay .... and she passed my number to her audition team to make an appt with me for an audition in mediacorp. that's so far for my recent happenings.

many things happened this weekend ... firstly i had a bad day in the pub can't catch the lyrics on the very first night of singing session with the band ... coz of the songs they do, i don't sing them in karaoke ... so i need time to catch up ... not a problem ... but one thing is that the lead guitarist seems to be abit hard to tackle ... kind of attitude and taking advantage of people . asked me for 2 dollars coins a couple of times already and yet nv return ....

anyway not an issue ... on friday morning .. i flipped through the papers and found that the article was published .... finally, after the long wait... i didn't go work on friday .... things weren't that smooth in work ... my first interview and first job applied for... but don't think it'll last. cause of the system that they are having there. it seems pretty hard to advance and hard to excel. maybe because the whole organization is a family business. there're lots of things that are run in their very own style. maybe i'll quit after i found a better job...

saturday was a tired day .... i woke up at 3pm after memorizing song lyrics on friday ending at 7am on sat morning. get ready to go down to suntec for my emceeing competition on that day and carried on to sing in pub at night. my friends went down to support, occupying 4 tables. pretty surprising that most came down. but the music and the price of the beverages didn't keep them. far too ex. for beers , it's still alright but for the bottles, it's very ex. anyway was pretty tired on that day. so didn't really performed well.... was pretty aweful i feel ...

was a pretty tired day rush in and out of office today from noon start till evening then i went for dinner with my family at my grandma place. thereafter i rush to katong to help in the second set of the live band performance.

in the noon i went to orchard tower to collect some payments, out of sudden i received a call from my band leader saying that today our band is having a relief female singer today. ended up my partner edwin is running the whole show by himself in the first set. cause the female singer doesn't know to talk much.

poor jansen. all the trouble looking for a female singer. today sang quite a few songs.... having a tired throat too. coz helping edwin to reach the notes. cause his condition is far worse. anyway i will be relieving him tonight. thursday night friday and saturday night. all in katong eternity pub. singing you live music !!

woke up at 2pm. went out to packet food and went for vocal practice with the band. was in the rush. so ate my lunch in the cab. was pretty tired ... maybe because i sleep only in the morning 7 a.m

helped to set up the stuffs abit in the pub with my band. and started to do the sound check. everything seems fine. but the guitarist has a little attitude. and stuck to playing pretty out-dated songs. don't know is it my concept difference or all the bands are the same. playing those kind of hits over and over again every night. anyway hope everything will be smooth.

i will only start singing on weekends. which is friday and saturday. from 10pm onwards at eternity pub @ odeon shopping centre. just right beside katong shopping centre along mountbatten road. so guys, better be there to catch to support and hear my aweful voice.

just hope that i don't break the windows and doors. regarding my newspaper article, it'll be published on friday life section of the strait times. it's confirmed already as for what i know. so get ready to check it out ! anyway reading more strait times is good ! i have them everyday at home ....  :P
