sighz .... feel cheated ... i was told that the friday after chinese new year .... isn't it today ? i waited for the papers to see how was the report ... but to no avail . i didn't even see a thing reported regarding the competition. was rather surprised .... anyway i just received an email regarding my competition on emceeing .... they suddenly told me that i was only in the quarter finals ....

and yet on the day of audition, the organizers told me that i went straight into the finals,  i was still unsure, until i ask them again, they told me there're sure i went straight in the finals. and now i received an email saying that it wasn't true....

what's happening ? actually now i've a personal feeling about this particular competition. badly organized and pretty "kelong" . i've seen people sing well and look good ones. ended up didn't get into the quarter finals. the same thing happened to me. ... i'm just normal looking. on that day of competition i was kicked out @ Tower Records Suntec city. And the one who went thru didn't even sing properly and was pretty aweful ....

so i guess my friends were right. they too took part in the competition. they feel the same thing as well.... anyway these are personal comments ..... just feeling cheated. anyway since they wanna place me in the quarter finals then let it be. i just try my best .... but in a way i feel pretty disappointed.

Today i went to work as per normal. but my direct superior is not working today. he's on leave for malaysia till tomorrow. so i get around in town with no car and getting drenched in the rain. just pray that i don't fall sick. sent out mailers today to clients. pasted 162 stamps at tanjong pagar post office. haha !! my personal record. first time in life that i pasted so many stamps in one day.

well alot of you might not know what am i working as. i am currently working as a marketing manager in a digital karaoke system company named musicbox. you know the computer system kster and cha xuan is using ? yes ! our company does the system and is developed and produced locally by my company's IT engineer. they're really good at it and the system really impressed me ! what i feel is that it's far better than the current one party world karaoke and kbox is using ! locally produce somemore !

spent the whole evening working on the templates for future use. took me quite a few hours to finish 5 long documents. sat in my chair for 3 straight hours without getting up even for toilet.

2 more days !!! i'll be featured in strait times life section for the talentquest competition....  first time seeing myself in the national papers ... don't know how i'll look like. remember to buy a copy !! this coming friday. that's the news i received from the reporter. should be a confirmation already.

Caught up in work regarding some discussion with client. the client was an retired police officer. he's damn ego ! always  talking to people around me with 100 repeatings on 1 issue. and don't let people have a chance to voice out or comment. haha this is the first time seeing this kind of people in civilian world. pretty like an army colonel or those kind of old policemen. well he's still my company's client. gotta listen to what he say. irregardless of how many times he repeats and treats everyone around him like an idiot. explaining the issue a thousand times. 

Went for my band jamming practice @ geylang area... was a hectic day today. because of my client i was very late. coz i read the wrong sms. went to the pub instead of the jamming place. well, i would like to announce, i'll be singing in a pub call the eternity in katong with my band named ICE !! we'll start singing on the 2nd of FEB, a monday!!

all my members are very professional and have great sense of music. seems like i met a group of people who's like me, that make music for a living !! started singing corazon de melao, ban jing ba liang and heng xing de heng xin. cause i was late so only in time for 3 songs. i only manage to catch my dinner after i finish my band practice.

[ 18th jan 2004 ]

long and tired day ... slept @ 5am in the morning, woke up at 2pm in the noon. started with cleaning up the house and painting the kitchen. did it all alone. while my younger brother clean the cabinets and the doors. everyone is preparing for new year. getting ride of old things and all the dust around making me sick. i've sensitive nose. pretty hard to control the sneezing....

guess since started working in a relatively new computer. small enterprise, but pretty tiring. running around in my boss's car fetching this and going there to meet up clients. running around all the pubs area in singapore. find it hard to catch up with my personal things. like practicing singing and writing songs. i'm left with not much time to do it. sighz

wish i can really find sometime to do all these things. and plus new year is round the corner. i find everything so packed together. i still need catch up with all my personal things to keep my stuffs on track.

just found out that my interview section on strait times life will be featured on the friday after the chinese new year. that means it should be on the 30th of jan. remember to buy a copy !! i will be buying too....

from tv, radio and now papers. think all i've tried all. think most importantly i will do up all my recordings and make sure you people out there will be able to listen to my songs right after new year i hope !! ciaozz....  now it's 0145hrs 19th jan 2004 .... monday blues.... gotta work ah !!

[ 12th jan 2004 ]

almost finished piecing up this thing last nite. i worked till 0515hrs this morning and slept till 10 plus in the morning. got up for interview ! my godness, i'm so tired. i had my bread and went for interview. during the long interview, met 3 bosses of the company and they got me in as their assistant sales manager. they didn't even consider about me. they just told me to start work on wednesday. and i don't even have time to consider if i want to take the job or not ! anyway i think i'll take it !

it's a good thing, to celebrate my ORD first month anniversary with a successful job interview. This is the second job interview i went for since i ord. and SIA was the first interview. all comes out of a sudden. you might want to say it's good news though. isn't it ? :) Cheers !

went to chalet with my friend on the 7th of jan, had our BBQ, mahjong and drinking session before everyone starts to get busy with their life and work. cuz mike just got out of army 2 weeks, he got an engineering sales job already ! that's fast. started with quite good basic. as for michael, he's getting out of army in another 3 weeks time or even less than that.

went for swimming and sun tan on the 8th of jan. slept at 7.00am, woke up at 1pm after our late night drink and mahjong in the chalet. of course. had a great time playing pool after our "pool" session @ the swimming pool. soon after i won abit of their money from mahjong and went back home on mrt after that. :P

reaching home was so busy. i am doing this website since 12am. till 5.00am you know ?!

[ 4th jan 2004 ]

can't sleep on last night. maybe because it's my first interview today after so long in army. went for SIA's Recruitment for Air Steward interview in the morning @ 1100hrs. It was really a long drive down to SIA training Centre in changi. Reached there in 25mins. queued up and got my height and weight measure, showing them my real certs from my education. they even require me to bring my birth cert ! i haven't seen it myself for ages....

during the interview, they sent me into a room arranged me in group of 6 and put me in the first of all guys. asked me to talk about my name, occupation and what i feel about the flag issue. how i answered them was "Good morning,  my name is so and so, i'm currently jobless currently ! " in a smiling manner, and "i have no idea about the flag issue,  but i heard alot of news on SIA on the recent papers." haha

i can only say the interviewers both one guy and one lady were smiling alot at me. but i wasn't called to stay back. all 6 guys in my group were sent back home and say that they will write to us.

in my group of guys, i have the shortest and pretty surprising for them. whereas other guys talk alot trying to impress. that's my personal comments . :P anyway after the 20 mins i spent @ SIA training centre, i travelled all the way back to west side from Changi again ! damn far man....

[ 1st jan 2004 ]

Started with the year sleeping at home cause i went to devilsbar for celebration yesterday. great night. but alot of people around the town and every where on earth when it's already 3+ a.m the whole orchard street is still packed with people. Went for supper session at newton circus before i went home. Was really very hungry. sleep time for me ....

In this year of 2003, we had war, had SARS had the worst times and when economy start to grow slightly, it started to drop before of the SARS and the WAR ! sighz.... Everyone is doing bad other than the mask and thermometer factories and distributor. health products were doing well.... sometimes i wish they aren't doing well. cuz that means everyone is in pink !

For about the worries and bad times we went through in last year. Wish everyone i know and everyone on this earth enjoy this special moment every day and stay as happy every single day in and day out of your life ! for those who haven't get things going and haven't get on with a good start in 2003. I wish 2004 will be a better year for you !
